MSC Cruises
MSC Cruises are the largest privately owned cruise line in the World and have some of the largest, newest and most glamorous ships in the World. The family focused cruise line offers fun for the whole family and offers a huge choice of cruises from Europe. They also cruise in the Caribbean from ports in North America, as well as in the Middle East and South America. In 2026, MSC will make its debut in Alaska.

Incredible value for money
MSC Cruises offer fantastic value for money with the standard fare inclusive of your cabin, meals, tea & coffee, entertainment, activities and tips.
There are three experiences when booking your cabin which are Bella, Fantastica and Aurea.
The standard fare is the Bella experience which is a guaranteed cabin and is allocated around 4 days before departure. You may receive an upgrade with the fare although it may be in a location with restricted ocean or balcony views. Cruises changes are permitted, although these come at an additional cost.
The Fantastica experience includes the choice of cabin at the time of booking along with other benefits such as the free continental breakfast in your cabin with free delivery and 24 hour room service. You can also request your dinning preference before travel and one cruise change is permitted (T&C's apply).
The Aurea experience is the best experience and you can select suites, balcony or Ocean View cabins, and includes a Welcome Package of Proseco and Chocolates placed in your cabin on embarkation day. You have the option to choose Free Time Dining meaning you can eat at different times each night in a dedicated area of the restaurant. Guests also have access to the Top Exclusive Solarium (adults only) as well as the Thermal Area in the Spa (reservations required).
Families receive great value for money on MSC cruises with under two's sailing for free and special fares for the age groups from 2 to 11 and 11 to 17 with fares commencing at £119 for a seven night itinerary. At certain times of the year kids sail for free.
Also, single parents can also get a discount on the first child of a 15% discount on the adult fare with the 3rd and 4th child receiving the reduced child rate. MSC and are one of the only cruise lines to offer the single parent, rather than having to full fare for the first two guests in the cabin.
Drinks packages can often be an expensive extra, but MSC offer a heavily reduced rate on the Premium Drinks Package at the time of booking which costs from £35 per day and covers alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, freshly squeezed juices along with speciality teas and coffees. *MSC have recently announced a limit on alcoholic drinks of 15 per day.
Family Friendly
MSC Cruises are a family friendly cruise line and have a whole range of activities for parents and children to enjoy.
The kids clubs are free for all children who can be registered on boarding. There are five kids clubs for different age groups.
- Baby Club (6 to 36 months)
- Mini Club (3 to 6 years)
- Junior Club (7 to 11 years)
- Young Club (12 to 14 years)
- Teen Club (15 to 17 years)
MSC's baby club is in partnership with Chico with fun, modern and education toys available to entertain the youngest cruisers.
Lego is the partner for the kids clubs and there are a range of activities for kids to enjoy in dedicated areas depending on their age. Activities include tournaments, discos, sports events, young masterchef at sea, and parades through the ship.
Other activities on some of the ships include waterslides, ropes courses and zip lines, splash pools, arcades, bowling and a 4D cinema.
Fleet of 22 elegent ships
MSC Cruises currently have 22 ships in their fleet in six classes, with a 23rd due to commence sailing in April 2025.
All of the ships were built from 2001 onwards meaning that MSC cruises not only have one of the largest fleets in the world but also some of the most elegant and newest ships in the industry.
In 2008, MSC Cruises introduced Swarovski crystal staircases on their ships starting with MSC Fantasia. Since then, all of their new ships have featuring the glamourous Swarovski crystals in the staircases in the main atrium and MSC Yacht Club areas.
A fantastic feature on the Meraviglia Class ships is the LED Dome running along the ceiling of the two deck Galleria. The promenade features shops, bars and restaurants and is a great area for socialising, eating and listening to live entertainment. MSC Virtuosa which sails from the UK in the summer months has the longest and most spectacular LED Dome at sea.
MSC Yacht Club
MSC Cruises ship within a ship concept allows guests who are looking for a value for money luxury experience. The MSC Yacht Club provides guests with an exclusive experience on the ships with dedicated and private areas.
The MSC Yacht Club experience starts with priority embarkation alongside a 24/7 Concierge and dedicated butler providing personalised services throughout your time onboard. The exclusive areas include a lounge, restaurant, sundeck and pool. The full Premium Drinks Package is included which can be used in all areas of the ship, and the fare also includes premium unlimited wi-fi and unlimited access to the Thermal area throughout the duration of the cruise.
MSC Yacht Club guests can also enjoy unique excursions at the ports of call which have been specifically selected. These excursions are all-inclusive, have smaller groups, and come with private transfers.
MSC Status Match
MSC Cruises offer a status match program where you can join there loyaly scheme "Voyagers Club" before you sail with them. If you are a member of a loyalty scheme with another cruise line, hotel or tour operator, you can bring those earned benefits across to your future cruise with MSC so that you benefit from comparable benefits when you cruise.
An online form on the MSC website can submitted and once approved, you can enjoy the added benefits from the MSC Voyagers Club. Benefits include a 5% discount on future MSC bookings, onboard discounts, complimentary gifts, onboard credit, thermal area access and much more.
There are five levels of the MSC Voyagers Club, and you will be matched to one of these with your loyalty benefits from another provider.
