MSC World Cruise 2027

MSC Cruises opens sales for their 121 night World Cruise for 2027 onboard MSC Musica

Highlights

Round the world sailing westwards calling at countries in Europe, Africa, South America, Oceania and North America.

Destinations

Western round the world sailing calling at 45 destinations across 25 countries with overnight stopovers in Rio de Janiero, Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, Valparaiso, Papeete, Hobart & Sydney and a 2 day transit through the Panama Canal.

Rome - 4th January 2027

Departing on the 4th January 2027 from the port of Civitavecchia (Rome), with embarkations also available from Genoa, Marseille and Barcelona.

MSC Musica

MSC Musica Class ship with 1014 cabins including 17 which are accessible. Maximum passenger capacity is 3223 passengers along with 987 international crew.  

MSC Musica will depart the port of Civitavecchia (Rome) on Thursday the 4th January 2027, with embarkations also taking place at the European ports of Genoa (5th January), Marseille (6th January) and Barcelona (7th January) and then making her way out of the Mediterranean calling at Gibraltar before calling at Casablanca (Morocco) and Mindello (Cape Verde).

MSC Musica will then sail across the Atlantic to South America with overnights in Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires and Ushuaia before sailing around Cape Horn to Valparaiso (Chile) with another overnight stopover.  After calling at Hanga Roa (Chile), she will then make her way across the South Pacific ocean towards Australia calling at Tahiti with an overnight stop in Papeete along with ports of call in Moorea (French Polynesia) and Aiutaki & Rarotonga (Cook Islands).  Before reaching Australia, there will be six days exploring New Zealand with port stops including Auckland, Tauranga and Christchurch.

En route to mainland Australia, there will be a further overnight stay in Hobart (Tasmania) before reaching Syndey on the 15th March for a two day visit.  She will then sail back through the Southern Pacific to North America calling at islands in Western & American Samoa as well as the islands of Honolulu and Hilo (Hawaii). On the 7th April, MSC Musica is due to reach Los Angeles, before heading south down central America to the Panama Canal for a two day transit before port calls in the British Virgin Islands and St Maarten in the Caribbean.  The final leg will be across the Atlantic to the Canary Islands and then the Mediterranean reaching Rome on Wednesday 5th May 2027.

MSC Cruises official sponsors of Three Formula One races in 2025!

With the ongoing partnership with Formuala One, MSC Cruises announced in January the official sponsorship of three races during the 2025 season.  The three races will be the Austrian Gran Prix, United States Grand Prix and the Brazilian Grand Prix.  On top of this, MSC's luxury cruise line Explora Journeys will be present at the Monaco Grand Prix with their ship Explora II. 

Formula 1 MSC Cruises Austrian Grand Prix 2025

Taking place at the Red Bull Ring in Speilberg from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th June 2025.  

Formula 1 MSC Cruises United States Grand Prix 2025

Taking place at the Circuit of America's in Austin from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th October 2025.  

Formula 1 MSC Cruises Grande Premio de Sao Paulo 2025

Taking place at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace in Sao Paulo, Brazil from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th November 2025.  

Formula 1 Grand Prix de Monaco 2025

Taking place on the Circuit de Monaco in Monte Carolo from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th May 2025.  

Enjoy the Grand Prix experience onboard Explora Journey's Explora II from 21st to 26th May.  The ship will be docked in the famous Port Hercule in Monaco, providing spectacular views as well as hosting events throughout the itinerary.  There will also be the chance to obtain Grandstand or Paddock Club tickets with VIP Hospitality.
