Royal Caribbean

Royal Caribbean have announced further details of their new destination resort "Royal Beach Club Paradise Island". The new 17 acre resort located in Nassau, Bahamas will be opening in December 2025, with guests able to book from Spring 2025.

Royal Caribbean continues its trend of first of its kind experiences, with the all inclusive resort offering guests a unique experience. The resort will be accessible via a water taxi ride and will feature 3 separate themed beaches, 7 beach bars including the largest swim up bar in the world. There will also be 40 cabanas to rent for the day as well as exclusive VIP areas.

Family beach includes a shallow entry pool, water slide, dedicated whirlpool, fun and games on the beach and a frozen drinks machine.
Chill beach is ideal for guests wanting to relax and unwind. Guests will also be able to shop for local Bahamian crafts and taste various cuisine from the island.
Party Cove will be home to the worlds largest swim up bar, along with DJ's keeping the party mood going.

Royal Caribbean will include the destination in the itineraries of ships embarking in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Port Canaveral, Cape Liberty (New York), Galveston and Baltimore with 3 to 7 night sailings.

In the following years, a Royal Beach Club Paradise Resort will open in Cozumel (2026) and Perfect Day Mexico in Costa Maya (2027). Royal Caribbean International already includes their private island Perfect Day at CocoCay and the private resort of Labadee (Haiti) in their Caribbean destinations.

Celebrity Cruises

On the 7th December, Celebrity Equinox became the first ship in the fleet to embark from Port Canaveral, Florida.

7 night itineraries are available to the Eastern and Western Caribbean with Celebrity Equinox calling at 15 destinations in the region during the season to April 2025. Some of the port calls include Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Mexico, Belize, The Bahamas, St Maarten and Puerto Rico.

Being part of the Royal Caribbean Group, Celebrity Equinox will also call at Perfect Day at CocoCay a private island in the Bahamas which offer guests a unique experience with fabulous dining, over water cabanas and "Hideaway", the adults only beachfront.

In the winter of 2025/26, the first "Edge" series ship will sail out of Port Canaveral. Celebrity Apex will begin itineraries from 1st November 2026 after her summer season of sailing out of Southampton.

Cunard Line

Cunard have revealed further details of the make over for their ship, Queen Elizabeth, before she commences her inaugural Alaskan season in summer 2025 as well as spending the winter season home-ported in Miami (a first for Cunard)

The refurbishment will take place in Singapore from the 25th February to 13th March after itineraries in Australia.

Highlights of the enhancements guests will experience will include.

The Grills Suites will see new furnishings for both the interior and exterior for an enhanced experience for guests. Grills Suite guests will also get to experience an exclusive Gala Evening menu curated by Michel Roux, the Michelin starred chef.
The new "Pavilion Wellness Café", first seen on Queen Anne, will feature and serve breakfast, lunch and daytime dining. Cuisines on the menu include plant based as well as meat, fish, and dairy from responsible sustained sources.
Another programme which was first introduced on Queen Anne is the Harper's Bazaar Wellness at Sea package. The three whole day options are customised for relaxation, detox and energise.

Jet2 adds Jet2 Weddings

For those looking to book a destination wedding, Jet 2 have introduced Jet2 Weddings available from the summer of 2026 in stunning 3 to 5 star hotels in Cyprus.

There will be 35 hotels available with flights to Paphos and Larnaca with wedding options available such as Adult Only Weddings, All-Inclusive Weddings, Beachfront Weddings, Budget Weddings, Family Weddings, and Luxury Weddings.

There are three wedding options available with Classic, Deluxe and Ultimate with the price including local marriage fees and legal proceedings as well as additional flight extras for the bride and groom which includes 22kg additional luggage allowance, guaranteed seats, guaranteed cabin luggage (1 piece) and a bottle of champagne.

MSC Cruises

MSC have opened up sales for Northern Europe destinations from Southampton for the winter season 2025/26.

MSC Poesia from the lines Musica Class, will commence with an eight night itinerary on the 16th October 2025. Seven night round trip itineraries will leave Southampton every Friday from 24th October 2025 calling at Hamburg, Rotterdam, Zeebrugge (Brugge) and Le Havre.

This is a very popular itinerary and one that ourselves at Evhiz Travel travelled on in February 2023 onboard MSC Virtuosa.

On the 13th February 2026, MSC Poesia will sail on a 10 night one way voyage to Valletta (Malta) calling in Lisbon, Cadiz, Barcelona, Marseille and Civitavecchia en route to Malta.

TUI Extends capacity at Cardiff airport

TUI have announced that from December 2025, a second aircraft will be based at the airport in South Wales which will add new options for holiday makers.

On Thursday 18th December, TUI will double their flights to Gran Canaria to twice a week.
On Saturday 20th December a new route will commence to Fuertenventura just in time for a Christmas getaway. This route will also continure into the summer of 2026.
On Sunday 21st December flights to Tenerife will increase from 3 to 4 per week.
For those wishing to take a cruise with Marella Cruises, Canary Island itineraries will open up with flights from Cardiff airport throughout their winter season.

Jet2 Holidays adds 5 brand new destinations

Jet2 Holidays have announced 5 brand new destinations with Poros, Aegina and Leros in Greece, Palermo in Italy and Estonia's capital Tallinn.

Both Poros and Aeglina will be accessible with flights from Birmingham, Manchester and London Standstead to Athens along with private transfers and ferries to the islands in the Saronic Gulf.
The island of Leros can be reached from Kos by flying from 9 regional UK airports. Holidays will include a night in Kos the night before catching the ferry to Leros. Jet2's red team will be on hand to advise the details on arrival in Kos and 48 hours before departure.
Palermo will be Jet2's tenth destination in Italy with departures from Birmingham, Manchester and Newcastle commencing May 2026.
The fairytale location of Tallinn (Estonia) has been added to the destinations served by Jet2 City Breaks. Flights from Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh will commence late November and just in time for you to visit Tallinn's Christmas Markets. Tallinn was voted the best Christmas Market in 2019.

Easy Jet

During November, Easy Jet announced that they will launching package holidays to the island of Sal, Cape Verde.

Flights commence on 31st March 2025 with 3 weekly flights from London Gatwick.

Princess Cruises

Further afield, Princess Cruises have announced the three ships that will be sailing in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific from October 2026 through to the summer of 2027.

Royal Princess will be sailing one way and round trip itineraries from Brisbane and Sydney from October 2026 to June 2027.
Crown Princess will be sailing 2 to 28 nights itineraries during October, November and December 2026 from Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
Grand Princess will be predominantly based in Brisbane and Sydney from October 2026 through to August 2028, although there are also itineraries available from Auckland, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth.
